How to Install Capture One Styles for Professional Photography Editing

2. Go to the Styles Menu. Click on Adjustments in the top menu, then select Styles > Import Styles…
   
   
3. Locate Your Styles. In the window that opens, navigate to the location where you downloaded your styles. These files typically end in .costylepack.
   
   
4. Select and Install. Click on the style pack you wish to install, then click Open. Capture One Pro will automatically import the styles, making them available in the Styles and Presets panel.
   
   
5. Apply Styles. To use the installed styles, simply click on one to apply it to the selected image or batch of images.

1. Open Capture One Pro. Start the program from your Start menu or desktop shortcut.
   
   
2. Access the Styles Menu. Navigate to Edit on the top menu, then choose Styles > Import Styles…
   
   
3. Find Your Downloaded Styles. In the explorer window, go to the directory where your downloaded styles are saved. Look for files with the .costylepack extension.

1. Locate Capture One Application Support Folder: 
   
   
   • Open a Finder window.
     
     
   • Click on the 'Go' menu in the menu bar, and while the menu is open, press and hold the 'Option' key. This will make the 'Library' folder appear in the menu. Click on 'Library'.
     
     
   • Navigate to Application Support/Capture One/Styles
     
     
2. Copy The Style Files: 
   
   
   • Unzip your downloaded styles if they are in a compressed file.
     
     
   • Drag and drop the .costyle or .costylepack files directly into the Styles folder you just navigated to.
     
     
3. Restart Capture One Pro:
   
   
   • Close and reopen Capture One Pro to refresh the styles list. Your new styles should now appear in the Styles and Presets panel under the ‘User Styles’ section.

   • Navigate to C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\CaptureOne\Styles50 (note that 'AppData' is a hidden folder, so you might need to enable 'Hidden items' under the 'View' tab in File Explorer).

   • If your styles came in a .zip file, extract them.
     
     
   • Copy the .costyle or .costylepack files into the Styles50 folder.
     
     
3. Reboot Capture One Pro:
   
   • Close Capture One Pro if it's open.
     
     
   • Relaunch it to ensure that the new styles are loaded. Check the Styles and Presets tool to see your manually installed styles.
